Live Life Without Limits!

The top five cancer-causing foods are:

1. Hot dogs
Because they are high in nitrates, the Cancer Prevention Coalition advises that children eat no more than 12 hot dogs a month. If you can't live without hot dogs, buy those made without sodium nitrate.

2. Processed meats
Also high in the same sodium nitrates found in hot dogs, bacon, and other processed meats raise the risk of heart disease.

  3. Doughnuts
Doughnuts are cancer-causing double trouble. First, they are made with white flour, sugar, and hydrogenated oils, then fried at high temperatures. Doughnuts, says Adams , may be the worst food you can possibly eat to raise your risk of cancer.

4. French fries
Like doughnuts, French fries are made with hydrogenated oils and then fried at high temperatures. They also contain cancer- causing acryl amides which occur during the frying process. They should be called cancer fries, not French fries, said Adams .

5. Chips, crackers, and cookies
All are usually made with white flour and sugar. Even the ones whose labels claim to be free of trans-fats generally contain small amounts of trans-fats.

BRAIN DAMAGING HABITS:

1. No Breakfast
People who do not take breakfast are going to have a lower blood sugar level.
This leads to an insufficient supply of nutrients to the brain causing brain degeneration.

2. Overeating
It causes hardening of the brain arteries, leading to a decrease in mental power.

3. Smoking
It causes multiple brain shrinkage and may lead to Alzheimer disease.

4. High Sugar consumption
Too much sugar will interrupt the absorption of proteins and nutrients causing malnutrition and may interfere with brain development.

5. Air Pollution
The brain is the largest oxygen consumer in our body. Inhaling polluted air decreases the supply of oxygen to the brain, bringing about a decrease in brain efficiency.

6. Sleep Deprivation
Sleep allows our brain to rest. Long term deprivation from sleep will accelerate the death of brain cells.

7. Head covered while sleeping
Sleeping with the head covered increases the concentration of carbon dioxide and decrease concentration of oxygen that may lead to brain damaging effects.

8. Working your brain during illness
Working hard or studying with sickness may lead to a decrease in effectiveness of the brain as well as damage the brain.

9. Lacking in stimulating thoughts
Thinking is the best way to train our brain, lacking in brain stimulation thoughts may cause brain shrinkage.

10. Talking Rarely
Intellectual conversations will promote the efficiency of the brain

The main causes of liver damage are:

1. Sleeping too late and waking up too late are main cause.
2. Not urinating in the morning.
3. Too much eating.
4. Skipping breakfast.
5. Consuming too much medication.
6. Consuming too much preservatives, additives, food coloring, and artificial sweetener.
7. Consuming unhealthy cooking oil. As much as possible reduce cooking oil use when frying, which includes even the best cooking oils like olive oil. Do not consume fried foods when you are tired, except if the body is very fit.
8. Consuming raw (overly done) foods also add to the burden of liver.
Veggies should be eaten raw or cooked 3-5 parts. Fried veggies should be finished in one sitting, do not store.
We should prevent this without necessarily spending more. We just have to adopt a good daily lifestyle and eating habits. Maintaining good eating habits and time condition are very important for our bodies to absorb and get rid of unnecessary chemicals according to 'schedule.'

Marc Faber’s comment on USA!

Dr. Marc Faber concluded his monthly bulletin with the following:

The federal government is sending each of us a $600 rebate.
If we spend that money at Wal-Mart, the money goes to China.
If we spend it on gasoline it goes to the Arabs. If we buy a computer it will go to India.
If we purchase fruit and vegetables it will go to Mexico, Honduras and Guatemala.
If we purchase a good car it will go to Germany.
If we purchase useless crap it will go to Taiwan and none of it will help the American economy. The only way to keep that money here at home is to spend it on prostitutes and beer, since these are the only products still produced in US. I’ve been doing my part.

Orphan (Laawaris) Children OR Unknown Terrorists ???

Yesterday, I received an email from my cousin in which Advocate Manzoor Rajput shared his experiences being faced by him during September 1998 regarding adoption of Muslim's Orphan (Laawaris/Yateem) children by the foreigners.

It is a True Story of Mr. Rajput in which he addressed the horrible facts of misusing the Muslims Orphan children after adoption/taking custody of them by the Foreigners which should be known to all the Pakistanis and specially the Government Officials, The so-called N.G.Os and all concerned Departments so as to curtail the concurrence of such incidences in future.

Chinese Products - Easiness or Painful?

Last year in August, when I had to buy another computer for my use, I went to the Computer Vendor (one of my old friend) to purchase a Branded (2nd Hand) P-IV computer (becuase I had a wonderful experience of using 2nd hand branded computers in the past). My friend advised me to buy a new PC instead of purchasing an old one becuase the price of a new Dual Core-2, 1.6 GHZ was Rs.18,000/= wheras Companq P-IV costed around Rs.12,000/= at that time. He also told me that I would get Warranty on buying a new PC as well.

I had convinced with his suggestion and opted to buy a new PC which was the product of China that's why it was so cheap - and that was the blunder I ever did. Since its purchase I have been facing various hardware problems e.g., HardDisk, RAM, Power Supply failures and now its time to the Mother Board and all that happend within a period of one year or so. There is an old saying "Menhga Roay Aik Bar aur Sasta Roay Bar Bar". Although Chinese products are easily reachable to everyone, yet there is a great risk of being maniac of using these products due to their poor/low quality.

I have had a bad experience with Chinese PC and became a victim of poor quality products. I have delivered my PC for replacement of Motherbaord which could take at least 15 days or so by Intel, as told by the Vendor. Now I was helpless and to wait.... wait & waiting but many many thanks to my old Compag P-III PC (which has been discarded and put into the store since long) who has come to my rescue with his little resources in helping me to check my emails, posting my contents at my Blog and communicating with my friends and collegues too. There are old sayings "OLD IS GOLD" and "A FRIEND IN NEED IS A FRIEND INDEED" - so thanks to my old Compaq P-III PC who has really proved to be a Real Friend to me.

Double Standard !?

Today I went to buy fruits from the market. When asking the price of Banana, the shopkeeper told me the price @Rs.60/dozen. I was shocked to hear it because yesterday I bought the same quality of Banana @Rs.40/dz. While surprisingly commented on the increase in price of Rs.20/= in a single day, the shopkeeper told me that "PEECHAY SAY HI MENHGA A RAHA HAY TO HUM KIYA KAREN" (every shopkeeper always replied the same answer on his customer's query). I couldn't understand who the hell are these "Peechay Saywala". Don't they have any fear from Almighty Allah? Are they really Muslims? Don't they know that they are brining Fire of Hell in their houses by selling basic foods and utilities on high/higher/highest prices during the wholly month of Ramadan? It's a shame on them and Allah aur uskay bandon ki Lanat bhi.

All these people should learn from other nations (mostly non-Muslims). On their religious occasions, all of the Vendors or Shopkeepers reduce the prices of their products even they offer special discounted-sales at their outlets. Whereas in Pakistan what are the character of our people - they want to become a millionaire during the month of Ramzan even they pray five times Salat, take fasting and perform Umrah as well and also call themselves Muslims. What a Muslims are they?

Two Anneversaries

Today is September 11, 2008 -

Today, the 60th Death Anniversary of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah is being observed all over Pakistan. During all day, high dignitaries will be visiting Mazar-e-Quaid, people will recite Quran/Fataha for his soul - and it has been assumed that by doing all these things we have paid homage to our Quaid.

Is it all that what we have to do for our Quaid today? OR we all should take oath today that:

  • We will maintain and follow his word of advice "Unity, Faith & Discipline" in every day of our life.
  • Moreover, we all should always try to live open-heartedly with our Pakistani and Muslim brothers and would restrain ourselves from any prejudice & extremisms.
  • Further, we all should make every efforts to build a better & strongest Pakistan amongst other nations.

Americans would also commemorate 7th Anniversary of 9/11 at ground level of former World Trade Center today.

Intelligent Theft?

Day by day, robbery, theft and cheating is increasing not only in Pakistan but all over the world as well specially for Mobile Phones. By watching these videos one can note that how smarts are the robbers in their work these days even they don't have any fear to robbing a person on a busy street. It's a lesson for everyone - Beware around yourself while helping others or walking on street!!!!!

FATWA ON ISLAMIC BANKING AND ISLAMIC TV CHANNELS: RIGHT OR WRONG?

On September 05, 2008, In my Post "Difference of Opinion", I have quoted an article posted by Mr. Muhammad Yusha on "Islamic Channels". I also attached with it a clipping published in one of the daily Urdu Newspaper on the same topic. While putting my comments on Yusha's views, I had disagreed with him on claiming Islamic Channels being Un-Islamic or HARAM. Today, I got a Post of Mr. Mubashshir Shaikh on the subject topic published at ProPakistan.com. I fully support the views expressed by the author of the post. I am reproducing the extract of the Post for your review and comments.

NOTE: (Till date I didn't hear reporting of any Fatwa given by Pakistani Ulemas on Islamic Banking and Islamic TV Channels being declared Un-Islamic or Haram. However, it has been reported in various newspapers and Websites that Darooluloom Deoband, India issued the said Fatwa ).

Writer: Mubashshir Shaikh

Pakistan also known as “Fort Of Islam” has once again succeeded in keeping alive the tradition of “Giving Unexpected & Strange Decisions regarding Religious Matters”. The scholars of Islam have given fatwa in which Islamic banking and Islamic TV channels have been declared Haram or illegal [in Islam]. On one side some scholars are part of governing bodies of Islamic Banks and on the other side some scholars have declared it as Haram. To whom we follow in this regard, is getting difficult for us.

Regarding TV channels, scholars have said that they show the pictures of scholars [Aalims] and picture taking and showing is haram in islam, I totally agree with them, but there are some rules regarding pictures, which have been made clear by Dr. Zakir Naik in his debates & lectures and Sheikh Abd al-wahhab al-turayri [former professor of al-imam university Riyadh] has also thrown some light on the rules regarding pictures in islam. I would like to quote some of the rules which they have told us in their lectures.

Its written in Sahi Bhukari and Sahi Muslim [Books of Ahadees], that whoever paints or portraits the picture of any living thing [humans, animals, plants] by his hand, will be told at the day of judgment to give them life, to make them alive, and if you failed to do this, you will be punished.

Those pictures which are used by childrens to play and to learn are allowed in islam, and its proof is one hadith of Sahi Muslim and Sahi Bhukari, in which Hazrat Aisha [razi allah tallah anha] says that I use to play with dolls along with my friends in front of Prophet Muhammad [PBUH], and He never stopped me.

Photography [by camera] is also not prohibited in islam, because the pictures taken out from camera are not made by hand, they are the reflections which we capture on paper, if this is prohibited then why we watch in Mirror ? that’s also the reflection. TV channels show the video, and video is nothing but just the pictures which are shown in speed i.e., 24 pictures per second and it looks like live scene.

Way of communication is changed now, there was a time when people use to walk from one city to other to post letters, but if we will do this thing now, we’ll be called fool, because we have the facility of automobiles, and we should use that. Today the best way of communication is Media [TV, Radio Fm], If our adults can copy the movie actors, to whom they watch on TV, if our womens can act and deliver same dialogues which they hear and see on Star Plus Serials, this proves that TV has got power to bring change in people. So if we will show Islamic Programs, Lectures and Debates of Famous Scholars, that surely can bring a change, not to all but atleast few muslims can become Good Muslims. By the help of TV we can tell the non muslims that what exactly ISLAM is, we can portray the correct image of ISLAM, we can prove all those people wrong who are spreading the wrong information in the name of Islam. Every invention has its benefits and disadvantages, but for the sake of some disadvantages we cannot stop using that invention, especially when we are getting a huge benefit from it.

Though our scholars are more educated than us but with sorry I want to say that the recent decision taken against Islamic TV Channels is wrong [In My View].

Why do we read Quraan, even if we can't understand a single Arabic word??

Courtesy: M. Abu Baker

An old American Muslim lived on a farm in the mountains of eastern Kentucky with his young grandson. Each morning Grandpa was up early sitting at the kitchen table reading his Quraan. His grandson wanted to be just like him and tried to imitate him in every way he could.

One day the grandson asked, 'Grandpa! I try to read the Qur'an just like you but I don't understand it, and what I do understand I forget as soon as I close the book. What good does reading the Qur'an do?' The Grandfather quietly turned from putting coal in the stove and replied, 'Take this coal basket down to the river and bring me back a basket of water.' The boy did as he was told, but all the water leaked out before he got back to the house. The grandfather laughed and said, 'You'll have to move a little faster next time,' and sent him back to the river with the basket to try again. This time the boy ran faster, but again the basket was empty before he returned home. Out of breath, he told his grandfather that it was impossible to carry water in a basket, and he went to get a bucket instead. The old man said, 'I don't want a bucket of water; I want a basket of water. You're just not trying hard enough,' and he went out the door to watch the boy try again. At this point, the boy knew it was impossible, but he wanted to show his grandfather that even if he ran as fast as he could, the water would Leak out before he got back to the house. The boy again dipped the basket into river and ran hard, but when he reached his grandfather the basket was again empty. Out of breathe, he said, 'See Grandpa, it's useless!' 'So you think it is useless?' The old man said, 'Look at the basket.'

The boy looked at the basket and for the first time realized that the basket was different. It had been transformed from a dirty old coal basket and was now clean, inside and out. 'Son, that's what happens when you read the Qur'an. You might not understand or remember everything, but when you read it, you will be changed, inside and out. That is the work of Allah in our lives.'

If you feel this post is worth reading, please forward to your contacts/friends. Prophet Muhammad ( p.b.u.h) says: 'The one who guides to good will be rewarded equally".

Pakistan Defence Day!

Today is September 06, 2008 - Every Pakistani must remember that on this day about 43 years ago, when India launched the attack on Pakistan at Lahore border, the entire nation demonstrated a new spirit of discipline, unity, courage, faith & humanity and stood with their armed forces shoulder-to-shoulder to fight the enemy in defending every inches of their Motherland. Each Pakistani voluntarily supported his services to the nation and proved his best in every field of life whether it was at the level of general public, poet, singer, high dignitary or government officials.

This spirit had again been witnessed when earth quack hit the Northern areas of Pakistan on October 08, 2005 where millions of people lost their lives, homeland and belongings.

Nowadays, Pakistan is passing on its worst phase since August 14, 1947. The political, economical and ethical situation of the country is not so good. The enemies are trying every efforts to destabilize Pakistan. The security risks have been increased at the internal as well as external front. So in a nutshell, it's a time that every Pakistani must aware of the danger and once again show the spirit of unity, faith and discipline to dislodge the efforts of the evil forces and prove to be a true Pakistani.

We should all pray in the holy month of Ramadan that May Allah forgive us and protect Pakistan from every danger or evil forces. Also give HIDAYAT to every Pakistani especially to our Politicians so that we may build a better & strongest Pakistan amongst other nations and may prove ourselves to be a true Muslim & a proud Pakistani - Aameen.

Google Chrome

Yesterday night, I downloaded and installed Google Chrome (Beta). It is a Web Browser recently launched by Google. It looks simple, light and easy to use. However, it is in a testing phase so it might get some troubles or crashes in the Beta phase. But we hope till its final release, Google people would have improved the structure of the Google Chrome.

What Google people said about their browser:

Google Chrome (Krowm) is a browser that combines a minimal design with sophisticated technology to make the web faster, safer, and easier.

So, what are you waiting for - just click here http://www.google.com/chrome to download it, try to experiment it and share your experience with me.

Thanks & Jazak Allah

It is interesting to note that the post "Kalki Autar" published at my Blog on August 30, 2008 has spread very rapidly. While searching various Pakistanis Blogs, I noticed that the said article has also been published on few of the Pakistanis Blogs after August 30, 2008.

Although, I have always quoted the source of every post on my Blog, the writers of the said posts didn't mention the source at all which, in my opinion, is against the publications ethics.

However, I feel proud and grateful to almighty Allah in becoming a part for a good cause during the holy month of Ramadan. May Allah pay rewards to all those persons who have spared their time in reading and spreading the said news.

Thanks for all the participants.

Waassalam & Jazak Allah.

Difference of opinion

Hi again - Sorry for not posting any new content at the Blog since last two days. Day-before-yesterday, my PC was crashed and it took a whole day to me in formatting the hard-drive, reinstalling the Windows and other relevant softwares as well as configuration of the system. Yesterday, I was busy in doing some other tasks. However, the good news is that once again my PC is working fine and I am back to my work.

Yesterday, I was reading the articles posted by Muhammad Yusha criticizing on "Islamic Channels" published at chowrangi.com - while in the evening I received a newspaper cutting regarding Islamic Channels and Islamic Banking from one of my friend. I am reproducing the extract of the articles of Muhammad Yusha and the newspaper cutting for your review and invite your comments or feedback on it.

Islamic Channels
September 1st, 2008 by Mohammad Yusha ( 153 Views )

We have these so called Islamic channels and they are increasing every day. We have these mullahs and these so called scholars whose beards are a foot long, whether the beards are real or not is debatable, who present truth and garbage mixed together while a big fat paycheck awaits them.

We also have, on some Islamic channels, women in skin tight clothing revealing cleavage, sing naat of Allah and Rasool on the tune of Indian movie songs with the devil’s instruments in the background.

It is a grave sin to give speeches and lectures to earn money, especially when you don’t even know what you are talking about. It is a greater sin to watch such channels because that is the reason these channels continue to exist.

Islamic Channels or Satanic Channels
September 3rd, 2008 by Mohammad Yusha ( 104 Views )

Do these so called scholars not know that animate pictures are haram in Islam. On T.V. or off it. So the question is, why do they use a haram means to spread their so called Da’wah work. It is interesting to note that their bank account keeps enlarging the more “Da’wah work” they do.

These wolves in sheep clothing work for money and/or fame. Most of these people belong to the grave worshiping sect and others who pretend to be scholars actually are engineers or doctors. They are presented with material to read which they revise before the show and thus, at the end of the day, we have seen a good show.

On other “Islamic Channels” we have women singing naat in tight clothing while the mullahs around her stare at her assets. These are our “Islamic” Channels.

All these Satanic Channels should be banned by the government. If not, then people should themselves ban these Satanic Channels by not watching them.

Islam Channels/Haram Channels
September 4th, 2008 by Mohammad Yusha ( 113 Views )

Allah subhanahu wa ta’ala has ordered that men and women lower their gaze. It is haram to look at a person of the opposite sex. The question I put to these “Islamic” channels is that how does a person lower his/her gaze while watching these so called Islamic channels?

Are they spreading Islam? Do they even know the meaning of the word? Or is it just another propaganda to earn money? Why do they earn money by giving speeches and lectures on Islam. Is that not haram?

Why is it that these Islamic channels ask for donations and keep a huge percentage of the money themselves. Look at the enormous bank accounts of the managers of these “Islamic” channels and you’ll know exactly what I’m talking about.

Have they never come across Ahadith warning of the sin of animate pictures? Is Islam not against the free mixing of males and females? So how come on some Islamic channels we get to see a male and a female hosting the show. Yet another question. Why is it that on some channels we see women singing naat without the very basic requirements of hijab?

It is my challenge to any Islamic Channel in the world or any supporter or lover of these haram channels to answer all of my questions.
