Yesterday, I received an email from my cousin in which Advocate Manzoor Rajput shared his experiences being faced by him during September 1998 regarding adoption of Muslim's Orphan (Laawaris/Yateem) children by the foreigners.
It is a True Story of Mr. Rajput in which he addressed the horrible facts of misusing the Muslims Orphan children after adoption/taking custody of them by the Foreigners which should be known to all the Pakistanis and specially the Government Officials, The so-called N.G.Os and all concerned Departments so as to curtail the concurrence of such incidences in future.

It is an incredible story!! I have also read this in a local Toronto weekly newspaper. Pakistan government should take action against those responisble. But unfortunately, almost all of government officials are corrupt and they don't care except money...

Unfortunately, i am unable to find details of this Mr. Advocate Manzoor Ahmed on the net. Who is he? UmmatPublications.com's link is also not working. Can you provide the scanned copy of that paper here.
Secondly if so, this case should be registered with the Supreme Court of Pakistan. This advocate (having proofs) should try to take legal action against this henious crime, to stop it and to unhide the real faces behind it.

As no source for this publication could be traced so far, the authenticity of this article is yet to be proved. Even if true, this rule cannot be generalized to all foreign NGOs. I know for a fact that SOS Villages, although an international social welfare organization, is doing superb work for orphans in Pakistan. It has set up these orphan villages in 9 cities in Pakistan and the volume of work done is unmatched by any other government or private sector organization. Despite these services when I asked a colleague to donate for the cause I was shown this article which is at least irrelevant if not baseless.
The above referred article was published in Ummat Newspaper dated September 25, 2008. I have also mentioned a link of the said article for those who wants to know the authenticity of the said article.
It seems that the Ummat Publication has removed the above mentioned link from their web site. However if anyone really wants to know authenticity or further details of the said story, he may either contact to Ummat Newspaper's Office for a copy of 25th September, 2008 or just to go to a nearby library to read the said article.
